In 1997 Powertec Telecommunications introduced Telular’s Fixed Cellular Terminals to Australia. In 1998 we were at the forefront introducing the Ericsson’s Fixed Wireless Terminals (FWTs) along with a range of legal mobile boosters and repeater products that are now shipped to over 70 countries.
Due to the success of Powertec Telecommunications distribution channels, we became the exclusive Australasian distributor for Ericsson’s FWT’s.
As our product range grew, so did Powertec’s team. From its beginnings as a two man office in Queensland, Australia, the company has become an international distributor with offices on the Gold Coast, Sydney and New Zealand. Powertec has a full Sales and Marketing Department, IT and Tech Support team, as well as Administration support.
Today Powertec distributes products for Machine to Machine (M2M), Wi-Fi and telecommunications solutions to large multinational companies, government departments, defense, emergency services, small to medium size businesses and individuals. Our goal is to assist our resellers to design, manage and deploy connected devices for their clients.
Powertec are leading suppliers of Robustel technology M2M products which can be incorporated into solutions for warehousing, distribution, manufacturing to reduce costs, improve efficiency and increase safety.
